Description
KW V3 coilovers for BMW 1 Series F40 xDrive. This kit combines threaded ride-height adjustment with independently adjustable compression and rebound damping. The two damping phases can be set separately to suit your driving preferences.
The stated technical adjustment range is 35–55 mm at the front and 30–50 mm at the rear. Choose the product reference that matches the vehicle version and suspension configuration. The Swiss approval document specific to the kit is included.
To comply with the Swiss approval document, lowering is limited to a maximum of −40 mm relative to the original ride height, subject to the conditions in the supplied document. The kit’s technical adjustment range may extend beyond this limit.

Swiss approval
This KW suspension kit is supplied with a Swiss approval document specific to the product reference, allowing the modification to be entered on the vehicle registration document.
- Swiss approval: document included with the kit.
- Permitted lowering: up to a maximum of −40 mm relative to the original ride height, subject to the conditions in the approval document.
- Compatibility: the document must match the installed product reference and the vehicle concerned.
- Vehicle inspection: after installation, the vehicle must be presented to the cantonal vehicle authority to have the modification approved.
Important: some adjustment ranges technically allow lowering of more than 40 mm. This technical capability does not permit exceeding the −40 mm limit or disregarding the other conditions in the supplied document.
